Janessa and Jamey are a married couple from Middleburg, Florida who have broken free of the traditional mold and are living life on their own terms. They are content creators, entrepreneurs and coaches who are inspiring others to do the same.
Janessa and Jamey had a plan to make it on their own and escape the monotony of the 9-5 life. With the help of Jamey, Janessa’s husband, they used their skills and experiences to make money through creative endeavors. In just a few months they had almost doubled what Janessa made in a month, but their success was short-lived when Janessa’s account got hacked and deleted, leaving them feeling desperate and lost. Through the struggles, the couple stayed strong and persevered, adapting their strategies and building relationships with brands. After a year of hard work, they have surpassed their yearly income goals and are now proud of their success. It was a journey of doubt, fear, and learning, but it was ultimately worth it.

Middleburg, Florida, is the second oldest city in the US. In 2016, photographer and social media expert, Emily Hoyle, started her own product photography business. Hoyle says she felt overshadowed by talented creative people growing up. She hopes her story can inspire others to be creative.

Brockanessa was up to 30,000 followers, and it was doing great. But then her account gets packed, deleted, gone. She and her husband changed their mindset and started creating content. Just by applying simple strategies, he doubled her income.

Audrey wants to own her delivery business. Levi wants to be sponsored by Red Bull. Sometimes you have to be in a very uncomfortable situation to grow. This is how you can live outside of the stock standard box.

At what point along this whole journey did you hit that point that you felt, yes, we are totally on the right path. Now is the time. This year is going to be amazing and I know it and I just know it.

My biggest fear was learning how to do things the right way, understanding my camera more. I stopped making excuses. Sometimes you’re not going to have everything lined up, and you just have to take that leap of faith.

Changes set the tone for your future, and so many of them are pivotal. If I stay consistent, if I keep at it, that good things are going to happen. When at so many times when we hit that point of just releasing and letting God just do what he needs to do.

LZ: For our marriage, it strengthened us. We work really well as a team. Communication is what makes this key of working together. How do you make time for each other when you have kids all the time?

Audrey is already entrepreneur mindset. The kids love learning about the brand and where it comes from. As a family we’re definitely so much closer now when we prioritize, like choosing our Adventure Day.

The couple are both free range workers. Do you get more flexibility with your family that is more beneficial? Absolutely. We try to fit in a road trip every couple of months to get them away. We praise them for being so creative with their time.

The biggest low for me personally this year was definitely dealing with Narcissistic parents. That definitely was my lowest point, was the very first Christmas without my parents at all. And because I started sharing about that more people started to open up. It’s really healing.

Biggest success as content creators is when you build that relationship with brands. We really try and tell everyone, go in with service and wanting to serve others. If everyone had that type of mindset, this world would be such a much better place.

The purpose of this podcast is to inspire other people to live a life on their terms and completely out of the box. How would you inspire others to do what you are doing and just jump out there and just do it? Once you’re uncomfortable, there’s nowhere else to go but up.
