Ok – story time! When we lived in our house we were always looking for something simple for Christmas morning breakfast. Something I didn’t have to give up the whole morning to make (or the night before). I came across a recipe similar to this (original from Pillsbury Website). and we’ve since made it our own. How To Make Bacon Cheddar Pull Apart

This super simple recipe, it quick and easy. Time to get the kids involved!

Pre-Heat your oven to 350F.

(If you need to cook and chop the bacon, do this first).

Starting with your eggs and milk, mix them in a large mixing bowl with a whisk. Continue whisking until they are well blended together. Add in the melted butter, whisking until blended.

Next open the Pillsbury Biscuit cans. Take apart each biscuit and cut it into quarters, placing the pieces in the large mixing bowl. Once they’re all cut, gently mix the pieces covering them in the egg mixture with a spatula being extra gentle with the biscuit pieces keeping them fluffy.

Time to add the bacon, cheddar and onion. Start with your bacon crumble. If you already made it, or purchased crumble, make sure it’s ready to be added. Fold in your bacon crumble and chopped onion, again being gentle with the biscuit pieces.

Lastly, we’ll add the cheddar. Add the cheddar in small amounts at a time to ensure it’s spread throughout the mixture. Save some for the top.

Coat your glass 9×13 pan with butter, making sure to not miss any corners (this is your grease and extra flavor). Gently pour the mixture into the pan spreading it in an even layer.

Time to Bake!

Bake in the oven for 25-30mins (depending on the strength of your oven).

Remove and allow to sit for 10mins. Cut into squares and enjoy!

We love to add even more butter to these, as you can’t go wrong with a delish salted butter.
